Snake River Grill:Jackson Hole, WY

A candle terrarium. What a novel idea. While the overall dinner at this family favorite was not as amazing as in the past, the house specialty crisp potato pancake with sour cream and smoked salmon was worth the visit. Yum.

Roadside Bush: Idaho

Only made it about 16 miles. Fortunately lots of options on this fairly deserted stretch if road. Of course I passed up the roadside porta potty 2 miles back.

Parking Lot Bush:Idaho

Hard to find a hidden spot by a parking even in a rural town. Off on a 25 mile bike ride in Idaho, a mere 20 minutes over the pass from Wyoming. Hope the pedaling expends more liquid than the drinking inputs. Dry climate so one has to drink a lot of water, especially when exercising. We know what that means.

This is a sign I have never seen and I don't get the 'stinky' reference.

Rest Stop:Long Island Expressway

Just my luck to hit the cleaner when I am trying to get to the airport. Forced to use the Men's Room. Yet again.

Thank goodness that in the land of manicured hedges it is possible to find some wild shrubbery to hide behind.

This fairly modest by luxury land standards summer rental had luscious soap and lotion bottles in all the bathrooms. It also has three outdoor grills- one by the two little guest cottages, one by the infinity pool and one on the lower deck which has access to Peconic Bay. Really.

Chester Airport:Chester,CT

So I wanted to use the Men's room here as it was closer to the door to the runway, but I was told that maintenance would not be happy if I did that. Wonder what 'maintenance' has been doing in the ladies' room cause I'n not that happy with how it looks! On my way to Sag Harbor. 12 minutes by plane/ 2 1/2 by car. You do the math!
