Only made it about 16 miles. Fortunately lots of options on this fairly deserted stretch if road. Of course I passed up the roadside porta potty 2 miles back.

Parking Lot Bush:Idaho

Hard to find a hidden spot by a parking even in a rural town. Off on a 25 mile bike ride in Idaho, a mere 20 minutes over the pass from Wyoming. Hope the pedaling expends more liquid than the drinking inputs. Dry climate so one has to drink a lot of water, especially when exercising. We know what that means.
Beachside:Wainscott,Long Island

Thank goodness that in the land of manicured hedges it is possible to find some wild shrubbery to hide behind.
Sugarcane Field:Cienfugos,Cuba

What would a trip to Cuba be without a rest stop in a sugar cane field?
Canfield Woods:Essex,CT

Nice day for a long walk. The best part was hearing a cacophony of croaking and then coming on the vernal pool from whence the tadpoles were making all the noise. Nature!!
Red Trail:Canfield Woods,Essex,CT

Stopped for a minute if silence here in a clear blue sky day with little wind. Decided to leave my mark along with my dog's.
Ct Parks and Forest Blue Trail:Middletown,CT

It was icy cold today both underfoot and wind in the face, but the sun shine in a bright blue sky and when the wind died down it was easy to appreciate the masses if rock face and other natural delights in the 2 hour hike a hearty group of us- including my Scottie- took. No remorse about the hearty lunch and lazy afternoon that followed.
Laguna Hiking Trails:CA

Didn't make it through today's hike without a pit stop.
Hills above Laguna Beach:CA

Can't make it through a 3 hour post breakfast hike without a pee- even if I haven't had any caffeine. Several seriously muddy patches due to the rain they have had, but wonderful views after the initial 20 minute climb!
City-Bench:Higganum,CT

I like both the art and the use if his old corner cabinet to store extra paper. I also like this young business which uses trees that have fallen or are being cut in urban centers to make benches and tables and chairs and bowls and whatever you might want to have. I first saw the work I these two brothers at the New Britain museum and was delighted to meet the makers and see so many of their creations. Che k them out at www.city-bench.com.
