Not the most elegant way to store extra paper, nor was the seatless porcelain john much fun to perch on... The steak dinner, however, was a magnificent experience. A wooden platter with a huge bone in thickly sliced sirloin on a bed of arugula surrounded by strips of fried potato, white beans, chopped bok choy, and broccoli. The saltiness was cut by the piquant sauce served in a small dish and a lovely dry red wine. Yum.

Multiple lighted drawers one of which holds the toilet paper. Cool.

At first glance this seems like a precarious spot for extra toilet paper rolls. The revelations here are the exhibit by Jarvis Rockwell, Norman's son, and the hillside setting.

All lined up neatly and greenly. I love my monthly board meetings for Child and Family Agency here. While funding is always a frustration, the work if the auxiliary members and the staff and the stories of what a difference we make are invigorating and often astounding.

This is how my gynecologist's office stores its extra rolls and other paraphernalia. Can't believe it has been a year since I was last here. Or that I chose Valentine's Day to take care if this business!

Seem to be on a roll shooting toilet rolls today. Down here for a talk about Romare Bearden. If you don't know who he is, look him up.

Like the way the FloGris stacks its extra rolls. Equally impressed with the exhibit of photographs New England Churches called "White On White" which is on for another week. Decades of photos recording our heritage. Really beautifully shot and shown and wondrous in the display of craftsmanship.

Wouldn't want to be stuck needing a fresh roll of paper with the storage way up on the window sill. Look nice though. Managed to make it through today's 3 hour hike without a rest stop and finishing both bottles of water. Hooray for me. A lot to be said for this part of California with all these gorgeous hilly hikes and milder temps.
