Never heard of a swordfish chop? Me either, but I can tell you that I have had this dish twice now and it is delicious. This is now on the top 5 on my local restaurants list. Like the clean and spacious "W" room and the Holiday decorations.( Notice the ponytailed young woman reflected in the mirror who was doing a quick wipe down on a busy Saturday night.)

So, much better meal this night. Might have something to do with the juice fast I was on for two days before coming. Managed to resist the 1/2 price wine and the bread and olive oil. I loved my brined and roasted bluefish and thought the chicken livers with sage over pasta- had to taste it- was fantastic. Also the complimentary lemon curd lart they delivered. And where else can you find real linen towels in the restroom?
So cute. No surprise this bathroom belongs to a decorator. At her home for a reading of Noel Cowrad's Private Lives by a group of friends who have been gathering bi-monthly for 10 years for play readings followed by dinner. Whoever hosts the evening chooses and casts the play, someone else brings the dinner. Excited to be a new member of the group. Sorry for the fellow who had to pass on to make room for me.
I was not at this home gathering decorating tips, though this is a cute sink arrangement and the owner is a decorator. I was there as a newly invited participant in a decade old group of drama lovers who gather every other month in someone's home to read through a play. The homeowner picks the play and assigns the roles, one of the "audience" members brings the dinner. Wondered how I finally managed an invite. When notice was made of the passing of a long time member and how he will be missed, I understood. Skull and Bones (Yale's secret society) has nothing on this group.
